The Cape Grace Hotel, Cape Town, South Aftica
The location and reasons to visit:
Cape Town, South Africa. A beautiful and safe city, as long as common sense is used.
The view from the top of Table Mountain on a clear day is spectacular. Clouds can
appear and disappear at short notice, so check the weather forecast before making
the trip to the top.
The shopping centre at the V&A waterfront has a wide variety of shops.
A helicopter tour is very worthwhile and several companies have offices or stands
on the V&A waterfront.
Review of the Cape Grace Hotel, Cape Town:
The food and service are most certainly 5 star and amongst the best in the world.
Both the general manager and his assistant are very much ‘hands-on’ and are frequently
to be seen around the hotel, always a positive sign.
The hotel is ideally situated to walk to any of the interesting places in Cape Town.
This is one of the three top places and hotels in the world. One side of the hotel
faces Table Mountain and Signal Hill, which are the better views. The other side
faces the harbour, as shown in the picture below. The penthouse suites are magnificent.
