Bratislava, Slovakia and the Kempinski Hotel
The location and reasons to visit:
Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. The country has an interesting history which
is well worth reading about. In Bratislava, the Old Town is full of beautiful, carefully
restored and maintained buildings, such as Bratislava Castle, The Slovak National
Theatre building, Primates Palace and many more. The people of Slovakia were so friendly
and nice and Bratislava is a gem of a city - well worth visiting. I wish that I had
extended my trip to other parts of the country, especially The High Tatras mountains,
on the border between Slovakia and Poland should have been on my itinerary. Another
highlight of Bratislava was that the Slovakian girls are the most elegant and beautiful
that I’ve seen, anywhere in the world.
Review of the Kempinski Hotel, Bratislava:
A beautiful, modern hotel with fantastic rooms, food and service, and ideally located.
The location is right alongside the Danube River, 15 minutes’ walk from the Old Town
area, or 3 minutes in the hotel’s car. There’s an outside bar/cafe that is beautiful
to sit in, in the sun, for lunch., The breakfast buffet was fantastic with the freshest-possible
fruit and a wide choice of food. The ground floor Reception, Concierge, bar and lounge
area was never crowded. Many rooms have views out over the Danube River.
Overall, a very impressive hotel, where everyone spoke English to an excellent standard
and with the best possible service from everyone working there. Highly recommended.
Beautiful, old buildings are everywhere, in the Old Town
Quirky statues around every corner, in the Old Town area
