Glenapp Castle Hotel & local area, Scotland, UK
The location and reasons to visit:
This area of Scotland is so absolutely beautiful with stunning scenery. The drive
from the south took an age, since i had to stop at almost every lay-by to take more
pictures. The people are so, so friendly, everywhere. Really wonderful people.
Review of the Glenapp Castle Hotel, Scotland:
The feeling of exclusivity and privacy is wonderful. The people who work there are
so professional and their expertise is outstanding. The grounds are maintained to
impeccable standards and are a real pleasure to walk around. The beautiful rooms
are kept spotlessly clean and are wonderfully decorated.
The drawing room and the library are peaceful and tranquil places to relax after
a day of exploring the beautiful local area, with places such as Portpatrick to visit,
a quaint fishing village. It’s a pleasure to drive up the coastline both north and
south of the hotel, with beautiful views at every turn.
The gourmet food at the hotel is exactly that; refined, aesthetically pleasing and
absolutely delicious, and very professionally served.
Every day I would go down to a leisurely breakfast and on my return to the room,
it had been serviced. That is so, so thoughtful and considerate, and that I have
only experienced at the Armani Hotel in Dubai and one or two other hotels around
The people who work at Glenapp Castle are totally committed to a superb guest experience
and they certainly deliver that. I stayed there for six nights one one occasion and
seven nights on another, and I really did not want to leave, either time. The hotel
is managed in such a superb manner. The whole experience was one I shall never forget. This
is a world class hotel. Amazing.
